Pewter Sheet
2004-7-10
Pewter is the generic name for an alloy with tin as the primary constituent. Many metal miniatures are now made from castable alloys of pewter because they don't contain lead.
Pewter sheet is similar stuff that has been processed into, well.. sheet form. The roll in the picture is a little bigger than A4 size and 0.15mm thick.
Not the cheapest or easiest material to get hold of but it can be very useful for many modelling projects. Soft an pliable without 'spring', it can be easily shaped and cut with scissors or a craft knife. Pewter can be carefully embossed with detail or drawn to make 3 dimensional shapes.
