Cutting Mat

While not one of those must have items, a cutting mat provides a stable surface when using a craft knife or scalpel to trim models, slice sprues or any other activity that could result in damage to the dining room table.





Cutting mats are a flexible laminiate that provides a non-slip surface that is 'self healing' if not sliced into at an angle. Sizes ranging from A5 to A1 are readily available and are commonly printed with a grid for quick & easy markouts, larger ones having angles marked as well.
