Welcome to the Total Model Construction Guides! Here you will find
tips and tutorials covering a wide range of subjects. We'll feature
everything from how to get the best results from kit models, through
how to work with different types of materials, interspersed with a
liberal sprinkling of scratch-building along the way.
Every time a new guide or tutorial is added to this section, a headline
will appear in the right-hand margin of the page. This will also be
reflected throughout other pages in the site. In this way you can
be assured of being kept up-to-date about the very latest additions.
Whilst we will always endeavour to keep this area brimming with the
very latest tricks and techniques, we're also relying on visitors
to the site sharing their knowledge with others. To this end we would
welcome your contributions - from the smallest tip to an in-depth
step-by-step tutorial.
Whilst we can't promise to put your name up in lights - we
can at least put it up in pixels! Furthermore, if your contributions
exceed all expectations, you may be worthy of becoming one of our
