(NB: This review covers both the British & Canadian Shermans in Europe 1943-45 and US & Allied Shermans 1944-45 sets - which are available separately).

Two excellent sets of decals (transfers to us older modellers !), in the traditional scale of 1/76th that will provide markings for 14 different vehicles in the British and Canadian set, and 12 in the US and Allied set.

Each set contains, in addition to the actual sheet of transfers (sorry, decals), two A4 colour sheets illustrating each vehicle, and A4 sheet of instructions and references, plus the colour illustrated header. Many of the vehicles are old favorites that the older modeller will remember from the Almark Sherman book and the B.T. White book. The Shermans are:

'Balaclava', 'Charmer', and 'Conquest' from 13/18th Hussars; 'Armageddon' from 24th Lancers;
'Monck' from 1st Coldstreams;
'Snow White' from 5th Guards Armoured Bde;
'66' & '65' from 144th Regt. R.A.C.;
'Challenger' 'Champlain' & 'Cyclops' from 12th Canadian Armoured Regt; 'Ardnacrush' from 2nd Irish Guards;
'Belvedere' from 2nd Fife & Forfar Yeomanry;
'Velikye Luki' from 1st Northants Yeomanry.

The second set received is titled US & Allied M4 Shermans in Europe 1944-45. As with the first set, it includes the transfers, instructions and two A4 colour sheets of illustrations. The twelve vehicles covered are:

'Derby', 'Anne', 'Battlin' Bitch' & 'Aide de Camp', U.S. M4A1's;
'Thunderbolt' and 'Intruder II' U.S. M4's;
'3221065' U.S. M4A3 (76mm);
'Flatfoot Floogie' U.S. M4A3E8;
'Rokitna' (M4A4) and 'Latajaca Krowa' (M4A1 76mm), both Polish;
'Tarentaise' and 'Vesoul' French M4A2s ;

Print quality is very good with excellent register. Even at the asking price of £8.00 (plus 50p for postage) they are extremely good value.
