" Mirà has matured a lot since her journeys in Bran-Ô-Kor. She hides behind the icy mask of Misericord, for she is wanted by the Inquisition The powers of Hauteclaire, her mysterious sword, have awakened during her adventures. Yet the weapon still hasn't revealed all of its secrets"

The Misericord figurine comes in three pieces as shown in the photograph, the main body with separate arms. The detail of the casting is superb and while not intended to allow multiple poses the pieces fit together almost seamlessly without any adjustment. The casting is free of flash and the joint line very fine with no mismatch at all and the gates on the arms are easy to remove.

Separate arms allow the pose to be achieved without heavy back-filling of undercuts for the moulding process and presents a relaxed but menacing stance for the assembled figurine. I strongly recommend painting the parts fist and them assembling because of how the arms and weapons obscure some of the front of the miniature. The figurine is tall, at 35mm to the top of the head but is the same as other figurines from Rackham, making me suspect that my classifying these as 28mm may me an error.

The pack includes the character card, game reference cards and ones for use in conjunction with the Divination booklet rules.

The Divination rulebook is included with any priest or warrior monk figurine (the 'FI' code on the blister identifies them) and provides background and rules for expanded magic in the game and calling for Miracles.

Also included is the Hybrid character reference card so Misericord can step down into the Laboratories to explore and battle the denizens abandoned by the Dirz. Indeed, Misericord features in the prologue story in the Nemesis expansion rulebook and the figurine features in many of the colour photographs throughout.

"With one foot on the chest of the Hybrid lying on the ground, Misericord pointed her rifle at the enemy fighter's forehead.
' You, don't move, the Venerable wants'
Suddenly a Pest of Flesh jumped from the shadows with a high-pitched screech. With lightning speed the young woman raised her rifle and shot the creature, killing it in mid air, and then pointed it back at the Hybrid's head.
' So, as I was saying before being interrupted, the Venerable wants you alive, so don't move!'. "

Positive: Great sculpture and comprehensive printed material.

Negative: Begs for a superb paint job (not a negative but there's no photograph on the card).

Value: Pretty good for the quality of the figurine and the addition of a reference card for the Hybrid game makes the figurine versatile.
