If you're in the vicinity of Victoria, Canada, towards the end of September, make sure you pay a visit to the Island Open X model show. This annual event, now in its tenth year, promises to be one of the hi-lights of the modelling calendar. It will feature a host of exhibitors and trade stands under one roof. There will be modelling exhibitions, prizes on the door and even a swap meet. Sounds like a great day out!
