Those "Doyens of the Dark Ages," Gripping Beast, also do other cool stuff too. I was asked to paint up a unit of Celtic, Punic War,cavalry to advertise those nice unit box sets they sell - no left over minis here. See, isn't that kind of the Beasties?

Basing was done by Darren at GB HQ to fit in with the huge GB collection of painted lovliness, often seen demonstrated ( well, shown off) at shows & tournaments in the UK.

In addition a small vignette of a Celtic warrior & his faithfull mastiff was painted. This appeared in the Warhammer Historical supplement, Hannibal & the Punic Wars. On completion, Mrs EVM remarked he looked like a fat, blonde, Freddie Mercury & the name stuck.
