Painting a 20mm M3 Halftrack from Minimi |

At the West Midlands Model Show (WMMS) I spied a relatively new manufacturer of 20mm "ready to roll" vehicles - Minimi Miniatures (www.minimi.co.uk) I decided to take home the M3 halftrack & see how it painted up.
Most vehicles come in one piece, all I had to do with the M3 was glue on the front bumper & roller which is a single piece of white metal, easy! The resin itself is in a dark olive green colour.
I undercoated the model black. When that dried I painted on the main colours & applied an ink wash then dry brush technique to pick out the detail. this model is aimed at the wargamer rather than the serious modeller, but it is still a very nice piece of kit! Highly recommended.
