Tank Command
Are you interested in seeing tanks in action in a way you have never
seen them before?
Are you interested in being able to take command of a tank, or even
a whole team of tanks, and lead it into battle?

I really hope that your answer to at least one of the above questions
is yes, so read on.
TANK COMMAND offers a totally new slant on the team games market,
we run bookings for adults, children (age 11 up), works do's, scout
and cadet groups, and also have a very good team building format for
our corporate clients.
 The
basic idea is unbelievably simple, we have a fleet of Tamiya's excellent
1/16th scale radio controlled tanks, that until recently have all
been Tiger 1's. we split this fleet into two teams, and customers
hire us by the hour to fight set piece battles in our spacious, indoor,
fully equipped battle arena.When battle commences, tank commanders
will have forests to use as cover, villages to defend and rivers to
cross, all this under fire from the enemy team, whose job is to deny
the other team their objective. A good way to describe TANK COMMAND
is "paintballing the lazy way", the only difference being
that nothing more than a harmless infra red beam is fired, so no bulky
protective equipment is needed.
What makes our job so much easier is the fact that not only do we
seem to have really caught the imagination of the public with what
we do, but there is also the fact that radio controlled tanks have
always been seen as a very expensive sector of the market.
Not any more! For a fraction of the cost of buying one of these
brutes, you not only get to have a go on one, but you actually get
to do what tanks were designed to do, take it into battle!
It's a bit like radio controlled cars in that they are fun on
their own, but when you get a group together and RACE them, which
is what they are made for, the activity becomes something else entirely,
something exciting.
Armour fans can now become the tank commanders they always dreamt
of being, or in somecases no doubt, the tank commanders they actually
were.
TANK COMMAND is also in great demand for model shows and just about
any other sort of county event, for those interested, the details
for these shows will be posted on our website shortly.
TANK COMMAND is a unique, fun and exciting activity that is very
easy to pick up, and very hard to put down, we have customers that
return time after time to try and even out "grudge matches"
resulting from their last battle session with us, and as we are
continually adding to the experience, our repeat customers are always
pleasantly surprised by what we have added since their last visit.
For instance, we now have back ground sound effects of small arms
fire and heavy artillery, and a smoke machine that we use as the "smoke
barrage" that signals the beginning of a battle. We score teams
on how many tanks are knocked out, and at the end of a session can
give teams a breakdown of how they did. The winning team receive small
trophies as a reward, and all players get a TANK COMMAND certificate.

Before You Buy" booking, where you will get the chance to experience
all that these vehicles can do. There will also be "Open Championships"
for owners of these types of tanks planned for later in the year,
The future of TANK COMMAND is rosy, with bookings coming in thick
and fast, and next years event / booking diary filling up already,
we are looking to expand what we do by way of selling franchises
to those who have what it takes. This would enable us to cover more
and more of the UK for both private / corporate bookings, and Events
such as county / military shows etc.
