Two New Titles from the HLBS |

We have just taken in stock of two new sets of rules from HLBS Publishing.
Armies in Crisis
The first is 'Armies in Crisis', a set of rules for combined arms combat in WW2, priced £10.00.
Written by the famous Chris Peers, 'Armies in Crisis' is based on the Contemptible Little Armies rules system. Contemptible Little Armies, a set of rules for 25mm WW1 and includes 3 supplements, one of which is for Copplestone Castings 'Back of Beyond' range, remains one of North Star's consistently best selling sets of rules. So we were very pleased to see this new book, using the same basic system and ideas for organisation, but taking it forward into WW2. This I think is one of the only sets of rules designed for 28mm figures that allows you to field mass armour, artillery and air attacks.
If you have 28mm WW2 and are still looking for the right set of rules, or you are a Contemptible Little Armies player who's thinking of getting into WW2, this is definitely the book for you.
Day of Eagles
The second set of rules from HLBS Publishing, again by Chris Peers, is Day of Eagles, priced £9.00.
This is a set of rules for Aerial Combat in WW2, and covers anything from Bomber Raids to 'one on one' fighter duels. It is aimed at using 1/300th and 1/600th scale aeroplane models.
