I have just listed the first two 2packs of a new 28mm Pirate range that Crusader and Artizan are working on as a joint project.
http://www.crusaderminiatures.com/catalog_frames.asp?sub_range=CC
When we started our respective companies myself and Mike decided it made sense to create ranges that complimented each other and have shared weapons and equipment so that both companies' figures are compatible.
Having two companies produce the Pirate range should mean that there are a regular supply of new releases which we can bring out in addition to our normal historical ranges. Hopefully there will be something that appeals to newcommers to the period and those that already have figures from other manufacturers.
For my part I would like to expand on the opponents as well as the cutthroats and you should see civilians, victims, sailors and Government troops. Though I would like to finish my pirate crew first!
The Pirates will be part of the Crusader Collections range and all figures come on 25mm round slot bases, 3 to a pack for £5.00
As always comments or suggestions are welcome.

You can see the figures on the catalogue page of the web site. I'm no Kevin Dallimore or Tom Weiss when it comes to painting but hopefully you get the idea!
