It's been a while since we last heard anything from Italian kit producers, Criel Model. Despite the lack of updates the company has been anything but quiet. Recent releases include an excellent 1:35th scale Lancia 1ZM - an early armoured car which was introduced in the First World War. In 1941, towards the end of its career, it returned to active service in Yugoslavia where it was used by the occupying axis forces. This comprehensive resin kit comes complete with both St. Etienne & Fiat MGs assignments.
Criel have compiled a very useful photographic montage of the construction and painting processes for the kit. As well as hi-lighting key assembly tips it also casts a cursory glance at under-painting which many modellers will find useful.
The photo guide can be seen here...
Other recent kit releases include a Lancia 3Ro heavy truck - used for transporting horses - and a SPA 38 light truck.
There have also been a few notable arrivals in the figure department include a short series of Italian WWI infantrymen and a rather elegant horse!
