Anyone looking for a last-minute stocking filler would do well to take a look at the latest releases from Spanish producers, Nimix. They've just re-released their popular 1:35th scale BMR 600 (Blindado Medio de Ruedas) - a six-wheeled AFV which is currently in service in Spain, the Far East and South America. The kit includes both resin and photo-etch components which, claim Nimix, are manufactured to the highest standards they've ever produced.
In 2006 the company plan to release the Vamtac Rebeco, a multi-purpose vehicle employed by Spanish forces which is similar in appearance (if not in design) to the the American HMMV. The vehicle, like it's US counterpart, is produced in various configurations to fulfil a variety of different roles and it is hoped this will be reflected in the new kits.
