Stronghold Miniatures
Stronghold Miniatures was founded in 2002 as a part-time enterprise to help fund the owner's own wargaming requirements.
Stronghold Miniatures is a manufacturing company that provides items for the Wargamer. It has an inventory of eclectic items that stretches from 1/3000 WWII ships, through 1/300 aircraft (WWII and modern), 15mm Historical and Fantasy figures, and 28mm figures too, all topped off with scenics for all the major wargaming scales (6mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm and 28mm). Listings are available as PDF's on the site or you can email the company and an excel sheet of over 30 pages in length will be sent by return. Hard copies can be provided, but we have to charge for that.
Stronghold has grown to encompass the ranges once produced by:
- Battlegroup (28mm WWII Figures)
- B&M Models (1/300 planes and 1/3000 ships)
- Bushi (28mm early period Samurai figures)
- Jacobite Historical and Fantasy 15mm Figures (many periods of 15mm historical and LotR type fantasy figures under licence)
- Penelope Pit Stop series of racing cars which changed to "Winners Eye View"
- Pioneer Miniatures (19th century 15mm figures)
- SDD Models (1/600, 15mm, 20mm ranges from WWII ships through to spaceships and WWII armour to SCW)
- Vanguard Models (6mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm scale resin scenics)
- Village Green Models (resin scenics in 6mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm and 25mm scales)
- Victoria Miniatures a small range of 10mm figures which aren't currently in production
- Yxor Miniatures (many periods of 15mm figures)
Together with additions from Britannia Miniatures (20mm WWII bunkers), Brigade Models (6mm and 10mm) and developments created for Stronghold itself.
The majority of figures and vehicles are cast in white metal, whilst the scenics utilise resin.
To round out the experience our online shop also makes available Scotia Micromodels, Tumbling Dice 1/600 aircraft, Cotton Jim flags, and Vallejo model paints.
