Mirliton
Mirliton has been producing metal miniatures for over twenty two years in 15mm, 20mm and 28mm scale. Currently they are is the biggest manufacturer of wargames and collectible miniatures in Italy.
The Mirliton Catalogue boasts more than 2000 different models from the following periods: Ancients, middle ages, renaissance, Napoleonic, the Italian Unification wars and the Second World War.
Most of the miniatures are sculpted by Mirliton owner Stefano Grazzini. They are characterised by rigorous historical research and documentation accumulated over the years. This information has helped the company produce a small range of vignettes depicting medieval daily life.
Mirliton also produces paper shields and banners with Italian, German and English heraldry from famous historical battles, made specifically to detail your miniatures.
In 2003 Mirliton acquired the moulds and the rights of one of the most famous American fantasy miniatures companies Grenadier Models who stopped producing in 1998. Grenadier miniatures were sculpted by several well known sculptors from the miniatures industry, and included famous lines like Fantasy Warriors, Fantasy Legends and many other pieces like dragons and giants.
Mirliton has now started reissuing and revising these magnificent miniatures, still up to present day's standard, as Mirliton Fantasy.
Mirliton is also the distributor of Vallejo Colours model paints in Italy.
