Artizan Designs
Artizan figures are designed and sculpted by Mike Owen. The first
range will cover the Western Desert campaign of WWII. Artizan's initial
releases consist of 28mm Deutches Afrika Korps and British Commandos,
and more Commandos, Long Range Desert Group, Italians and Eighth Army
will be added over the next few months.
MikeOwen previously sculpted for many companies (Ground Zero Games, Dixon, and Foundry) on a freelance basis and while he enjoys working on commissioned pieces (Renegade, Northstar, i-kore), he wanted to do something he could really get stuck into. Mike always had a keen interest in military history, particularly WWII, and set up Artizan Designs so that he could pursue my own ideas and bring to life some of the designs he's had in his mind's eye for the many years he's been sculpting. All the figures are 28mm, which Mike feel suits WWII skirmish gaming perfectly and gives a designer scope for creating figures with a great deal of character and personality.
Mike intends to fully support each range and make sure that nothing gets overlooked, so that the gamers among you will have everything you need to field your units with all the right gear and a battlefield look about them.
