Tankette
Tankette is the magazine of the Miniature Armoured Fighting Vehicle Association and is the direct means of communication with members. It is produced six times per year and is paid for by the membership subscription. From the roneo'd copies of the 1960's with hand painted colour samples to the professional glossy litho printed example of today Tankette has always sought to supply the membership with the information either written, as scale drawings or as photographs, that is needed to produce a particular model.
Obviously the material published is dependent on the input of the more skilled members, but all members are invited to submit what they can. We attempt to ensure that there is a wide diversity of subject matter in each issue of Tankette so that all tastes are catered for within the realm of military vehicles, but occasionally we have an issue devoted in detail to a particular vehicle or family of vehicles, such as the ground-breaking Cromwell issue, and the one filled with the impressive Jagdtiger drawings.
 Whilst all drawings are published in the hope that they are as accurate as possible, occasionally new information comes to light, and a revised plan will be published when it is sent in. We are proud to have such talented draughtsmen as Steve Zaloga, Mick Bell, Andy Boyce, John Rue, John Church, Geoff Lacey, Hubert Cance, Richard Harley, Arie Dijkhuist and many others too numerous to mention, all, who as members of the Association, freely submit drawings to Tankette.
Tankette also contains reviews and news relevant to the hobby, as well as private adverts from members either seeking information or a rare kit, or if they have surplus kits or books for sale. More than a few members have commercial enterprises, and they send their new products in for review through the pages of Tankette.
