| ‘Aeronautica Imperialis’ is the name of our new game of aerial combat in the 41st millenium currently in development. It is a complete, stand alone game using the existing Forge World Epic 40,000 aircraft range, with additional new models we are now working on. ‘Aeronautica Imperialis’ is far more than just dog-fighting; there will be bombing missions, intercept sorties, troop insertions and extractions, strike missions, as well as pure air-to-air, fighter-vs-fighter combat. ‘Aeronautica Imperialis’ will be a large format hardback book, containing all the rules, aircraft datasheets, manouvere cards and scenarios needed to play the game. | Commander Carab Culln, Captain of the Red Scorpions 1st Company, led squads of Terminators to cleanse the Tyranid infestation from the research stations on Beta Anphelion IV. Commander Culln’s suit of Terminator armour has been artfully re-worked by artificers to display his and the Chapter’s heraldry on the battlefield. Sabre Defence Platforms |

| Sabre defence platforms are most often employed in the defence of Imperial Installations which are not in immediate danger or when larger defences are needed elsewhere. Sabre platoons often have some of their platforms upgraded with anti-aircraft mountings allowing them to be fielded in both ground support and AA roles. Should an Imperial Installation come under attack, it’s defenders will often form around the Sabre Platoons, taking advantage of the overwhelming firepower they can bring to bear. [more...] |
