Since Total Model was launched back in August
2002, we have held over 10 different competitions. Many of the prizes were
sponsored by some of the model companies featured on these pages. Others
were either supplied by me or donated by regular members of our community.
Even so, they all had one thing in common. They were all military prizes.
Even ToXin's magnificent scratch-built hut was designed for a wargame!
With this in mind, I decided it was time for a bit of a change. Today I'm
launching a competition which has absolutely nothing to do with guns, spears
or laser beams. The prize may be called a "Warship" - but it has
nothing to do with boats or even water for that matter. This Warship is
a magnificent OO gauge locomotive from Bachmann and it can be yours if you
can answer a simple question.
This competition is now closed. It was won by Karl Tunney - who correctly identified that the fictional setting of the Railway Stories is Sodor!
